"New" Website Had Benefits, Pitfalls

As I was going through files on the current website, I saw a post that I made here in November that said the "new" website was almost ready. It was a lot of fun and took a lot of time. People really enjoyed it and we got over 1200 page views a day. In the end, the open-source software and the servers that hosted it, did not prove to be reliable. The site(s) would often go down and more often, we would not be able to have access to edit it as needed. I have decided that reliability is more important than flash - although over time, we hope to have both. At any rate, this blog will probably now be used to post a lot more news about Eastside businesses.
