Diana Pacheco, 30 Years Living with Dialysis, to Accept the Pioneer in Excellence Award for Her Commitment to Home Dialysis Care

On February 28, 2016 during the Annual Dialysis Conference (ADC) in Seattle, WA, Fresenius Renal Technologies will present Wyoming resident, Diana Pacheco, with its annual Pioneer in Excellence Award to recognize her commitment to home hemodialysis (HHD) and her role as a patient advocate.

Pacheco, who has been on dialysis for more than 30 years, lives with chronic renal failure.

WINE AND GRAPE INDUSTRY ANNOUNCES HONORS

The Washington Association of Wine Grape Growers recognized achievements of industry leaders at an Honor Reception held during their annual Convention held in Kennewick last week. The annual awards were for Grower of the Year, Industry Service, Lifetime Achievement, and Restaurant Appreciation. About 2,000 state, national, and international participants from the grape and wine industry attended.

Two American Mining Projects Honored for Environmental Excellence

The American Exploration & Mining Association’s (AEMA) honored two American mining projects with Environmental Excellence awards at the 121^st Annual Meeting last week in Spokane, WA.  Rio Tinto’s Legacy Management Group was recognized for their outstanding work in reclaiming the historic Holden Mine Site in Holden Village, WA, and Midas Gold Corp. was recognized for voluntarily reclaiming pre-existing disturbance, improving water quality and restoring fish habitat at its Stibnite Gold Project in Valley County, Idaho.

As a New York award winner, Eugene Alletto is now eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2015 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 14, 2015. The awards are the culminating event of the EY Strategic Growth Forum.
